The strategic goal of the NWE – “Norddeutsches Reallabor” project is to test the transformation path for decarbonizing the region by 75 percent by 2035 and at the same time to strengthen the region’s sustainability through sustainable innovations. More than 40 project partners are active in various sub-projects and applications at the “Reallabor”.
The project comprises demonstrators for power-based sector coupling. Above all, green hydrogen production is to be developed on an industrial scale (> 25 MW). In addition, hydrogen applications as well as other power-to-gas and power-to-liquid applications are to be networked and brought together for market-oriented overall system testing under real conditions.
E-Bridge was commissioned to support the consortium in the development of business models in the field of hydrogen production, applications and storage, strategic alignment and funding management by preparing draft applications.
