Offshore wind as energy source

Pilot projects all over Europe deal with the use of renewable energies. The use of electrolysis to produce “green” hydrogen could help to decarbonise transport and heating while using existing offshore infrastructure.

Dr. Vigen Nikogosian explains in a recent interview for the online portal “Windpower Monthly” that there is a big movement towards large hydrogen production plants in Germany and how German politics is dealing with this:
