E-Bridge is proud to be supporting the Nordic TSOs (Energinet, Fingrid, Statnett, Svk and Kraftnät Åland Ab) in the development of a new System Operation Agreement (SOA) and the corresponding annexes in line with the European Guidelines and Network Codes.
The Nordic TSOs adopted a Nordic System Operation Agreement in order to ensure operational collaboration and co-ordination of the national power systems. The purpose of the agreement was to achieve a coherent and coordinated Nordic cooperation and operational planning between the four TSOs, in order to maintain system security and to establish a framework for the development of a functional and integrated Nordic power market.
E-Bridge is supporting the Nordic TSOs in the development of annexes to the new version of the Nordic System Operation Agreement (Nordic SOA). The new Nordic SOA shall comply with the System Operation Guideline, the Electricity Balancing Guideline and the Emergency and Restoration Network Code.
As the project manager E-Bridge is responsible for the process, for ensuring progress in the different work streams in accordance with the project schedule, and for the managing and drafting of the annexes in the new version of the Nordic System Operation Agreement.
Together with the Nordic experts E-Bridge is conceptualizing different new methodologies and operational procedures, which require approval by the Nordic NRAs.
