NODES, provider and operator of regional marketplaces for the trading of decentralized flexibility, follows the German-led discussion on strategic bidding behavior (also known as Inc / Dec-Gaming) with great interest and seriousness, but also with great concern. This applies in particular to the study on procuring redispatch in Germany, which was commissioned by the BMWi.
As a result, NODES, in partnership with E-Bridge and Pöyry, has published a position paper to initiate a dialogue on best practice for adaptive, cross-sectoral and inclusive congestion management to contribute to a successful energy transition.
